Originally from Los Angeles, California, Merri is a first generation Armenian American. Prior to grad school, Merri spent 5 years acting in Philadelphia, where she helped to originate a number of new works as well as featuring in contemporary and classical theater throughout the city. Most recent theatre credits include: Our Town ( Asolo Rep), and Much Ado About Nothing (Asolo Rep, Bard Wired Tour), Julius Caesar,

and Twilight Los Angeles (FSU ASOLO Conservatory). 

Post graduation, Merri plans on heading to NYC!
